Pizza Hot Dogs
These are fun food and great snacking fare - and beat pizza pockets hands down. You can use beefy hot dogs or even semi-cooked Italian sausages.
Ingredients:
6 hot dogs
3 Slices Mozzarella cheese
1 10 ounce can refrigerated pizza dough
6 ounces spaghetti sauce
Gently pat or roll out pizza dough into a 12 x 8 rectangle. Cut into 6 rectangles. Place cheese, 1 hot dog and 1 ounce of spaghetti sauce in the center of each dough rectangle. Gently wrap dough around hot dogs, covering completely and pinching sides and ends to seal. Place seam side down, on a lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 425 degrees 5 to 9 minutes or until golden brown.
Recipe makes 6 Pizza Dogs.
